| We are not wealthy folks, at least not in the monetary way, so don't have fancy housing for our goats. But, the good news is that goats aren't fancy folk. Maybe that's why we all get along so well. We have renovated existing structures, added on to structures and built others from mostly recycled materials. New goat owners often ask about what kind of goat housing to build, what kind of mangers to provide, etc. There is the belief by some that you have to have a lovely barn and exquisite loafing sheds for your animals. Here are some pictures of the housing we provide for our animals. Our goats/chickens/llama/rabbits are all very healthy and happy here. No one has had any illness as of yet (knock on wood). And, as we have gone along, we have improved our designs here and there to provide even better living conditions for both herd and goatherder.
