We are an ARBA registered rabbitry.
GMV Feeding Schedule
View of the rabbitry from the outside. Roll up door comes down at night and when the sun is bright. Hog fencing along the bottom allows for ventilation and access for our barn cats who keep rodents at bay. The rabbitry is predator proof with hog panels enlosing it from the rest of the pole barn and our LGD (Livestock Guardian Dog) Kenai who sleeps inside. All of the cages are custom made from Quality Cage company
Our Angoras. Everyone has been recently shorn due to a heat spell. Cages are 30x30 slant-fronts on 30" welded metal stands.
The nursery. A litter of young Angoras spreads out for some growing room. I've added a 10 inch shelf along the back of the cage to allow mom a spot to rest away from the hungry kits.
Here are where the Mini Rex live. Cages are the Double Supreme from Quality Cage mounted on 30" bases. Trays on the top row for the does. Bucks on the bottom row are set up like the Angora cages to allow waste to fall to the ground.
The view out of the rabbitry. This is my "room". I have my worship music, my weight bench and my bunnies...I can find lots of ways to pass the time here in complete peace.
Here's Nightshift, prince of the rabbitry (Kepler is the king).
Not a bad way for a bunny to spend a day, eh?
Our rabbitry keeps growing. Here's our new annex for meat breeds.
Here is inside the annex. There are some Americans, New Zealands, a Californian and Scott's broken red Polish/Mini Rex cross doe named Tommi.
